Privacy Policy
Last updated: 26 August 2026. This policy explains how MME Engineering collects, uses and protects personal data, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP, revised 2023).
1. Controller
The controller is MME Engineering, represented by Manuel Martinez Estevez, based in Lugano, Switzerland. Contact: [email protected].
2. What data we collect
We collect only the data you voluntarily provide through the contact or quote form — typically your name, email address, company and the content of your message. We do not collect special category data unless you choose to include it.
3. Legal basis and purposes
We process your data on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry and providing engineering services (Art. 6(1)(a) and (f) GDPR; Art. 6 FADP). Data is used solely to reply to your request and to manage a potential engagement.
4. Storage and retention
Your data is stored on secure infrastructure within the European Economic Area and/or Switzerland. We keep it only as long as necessary to handle your request or as required by Swiss or EU law, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
5. International transfers
Switzerland is recognised by the EU as providing adequate protection. Where data is transferred to other countries, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (GDPR) or equivalent measures under the FADP.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR and the FADP you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, and to object to its processing. You may withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to [email protected]. You can also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (EU/EEA) or the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
7. Cookies
This site uses only strictly necessary technical cookies required for it to function. We do not use analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
